Description
Hi, my name is Grace and I am an easy going and low maintenance senior Spaniel. My former owner rescued me and after having me for a year, her landlord decided she could no longer keep two dogs so I guess I picked the short straw because I ended up going to the shelter. My coat was very dry when I first came here but now that I have been eating good food, the dryness is gone and you can now really see my beautiful black and tan markings. My hearing and eyesight aren&#194&#146t what they used to be but I do just fine getting around on my own. My shelter friends (the volunteers) say I am very easy to walk. In fact, I don&#194&#146t even need a leash because I stick close by. I enjoy being petted and especially love to have my rear-end rubbed and scratched. Oh, that feels so good! It has been hard on a senior gal like me to be shuffled around from one place to another, and while I have been treated really well here at the shelter, I very much want to find my forever home to settle into. Please consider opening up your heart to a senior dog like myself. I may not have the energy of a puppy but I more than make up for that with all the love I have to give. Although I am fostered in Tennesse, there are 2 transports that leave weekly taking newly adopted dogs to New England so please consider me even if you do not live in the local area.
